Our client in Financial Services/Investments is looking for a Financial Manager with 8-10 years plus experience. This is a Hybrid job and remote and office work is required. Have the ability to manage/oversee 2-3 additional staff in the finance department. The main task will be to manage the financial department/function debtor's book, financial reporting, analysing, financial statements, balance sheet management accountant, manage creditors, and bank.Salary Very Negotiable (Depends on level and current years of experience) Hybrid JobMin RequirementsMust have good working IT skills on Pastel (Client uses own inhouse system)Excellent Excel skills –advanced level preferable8 years plus working experience as a Financial ManagerThe ability to manage and oversee 3rd parties service providersIdeally from the Financial Services/Investments industryResponsibilitiesManage the Finance Department report to CEO (2 staff members, a lot of services outsourced)Manage debtors book - The AR function is executed by a 3rd party service providerHold meetings with the 3rd party team to ensure all is on track and to help resolve any issuesManage Creditors - Manage and oversee a creditors clerk/finance administrator who oversees all creditor payments and ensures all payments are accurateManage bank / Nedbank / Std BankThe FM must be intimately involved in this process and ensure this facility runs smoothlyComplete month-end bank reconProduce all financial statements and others each month (cash flow, income statement, TB, balance sheets, management accountants)Small Payroll - Ensure payroll is accurate (payroll outsourced)SARS - ensure all VAT, Paye, Tax is paid, managed etcExternal auditors - Deal with the company auditorsBe responsible for year-end audits with the external auditorSystem accuracy - Ensure at month end that all entries/allocations/accruals/reversals/postings are correctHandle any other queries etc that may come through each month.Cost-saving ideas and Improvements to structure/systems/processesStrategic input - Be able to provide input to the company on a strategic levelAct as the HR manager and manage the admin related to staffBe the main contact with BBE service providersApply onlineFrogg Recruitment Skills About Company FROGG Recruitment will respond to short-listed candidates only.
