The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in water treatment or other technical business development background. Identified leads and generating new business leads, building relationships with existing customers, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell water treatment plant, equipment & services. Requirements:Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.3 5 years Proven experience in a technical business development / sales role preferably within the water treatment or a related industry.Strong communication and negotiation skills, technical proficiencyAbility to manage multiple project enquiries simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software packages.Willing to Travel locally, regionally and potentially internationally on occasion.Attend Trade show Key Responsibilities:Technical Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing technical solutions for their water treatment needs.Customer Communication: Act as a point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via phone, e. mail, and in person meetings. Maintain relationships with new and existing clients.Product Knowledge: Will be required to learn and demonstrate knowledge of products and services, including water filtration, desalination, wastewater treatment.Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to clients, with prescribed proposal templates and departmental processes & procedures.Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.Document and Information Management: Ensure filing and other communications are dealt with in accordance with the companys ISO and the Business Development departments procedural requirements.
