TG places a high emphasis on value-add services pre- and post-delivery, covering configuration of systems (imaging, asset tagging, upgrades, downgrades&the like) pre-delivery, managed deployment services (installation and setup, onsite Customer sites nationally, including peer-to-peer data transfer) and the recovery and disposal of Customers decommissioned/legacy assets. Our Cape Town Branch is newly fitted out, modern secure warehousing and configuration facility, with a base of existing Customers already driving revenue through it and, optimally positioned for an entrepreneurial manager to grow it, as though he or she owned it, with strong support and assistance from its Samrand based head office. Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager with a strong IT background in the supply of value-add services in both pre- and post-delivery of technology products, including  asset disposal services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the branch and  business growth, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional technical service, supported by a strong logistics infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong IT services, general sales, customer relations experience, leadership skills and a broad understanding of inventory management, warehousing and distribution services. Critically, the successful candidate must be reasonably up-to-date and well acquainted with the IT Channel, in the Cape Town region. Key Responsibilities: ·        General management of the Cape Town branch in alignment with head office directives ·        Oversee the servicing of clients’ IT logistics and technical business needs. ·      Utilize and oversee inventory management systems and other modern warehousing fundamentals, to ensure efficient branch operations. ·        Manage branch assets and resources, including scheduling maintenance. ·       Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell company service offerings and products to existing and new customers. ·        Lead, manage, grow, and motivate the branch team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. ·        Apply critical thinking and project management skills to enhance branch performance. ·        Managing the installation, maintenance and utilization of branch resources, including facility, fleet, personnel, and equipment. ·        Oversee the execution of critical projects run by the branch (Local Configuration, Managed Deployment, and Assets Disposal Services), ensuring projects are adequately resourced, supported and delivered. ·        Managing the Local Configuration Centre, ensuring all services are adequately resourced and supported. ·   Oversee regulatory compliance requirements applicable to the branch including but not limited to ISO certifications Desired Traits, Experience&Qualifications: ·        Degree/qualification in IT or Logistics ·        Post-qualification experience in IT, Logistics, or Entrepreneurship ·        Advanced computer and MS Office skills ·        Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous. ·        High level of honesty and integrity, with a trustworthy and reliable nature ·        Pro-active, independent, and confident character with good communication skills Why Join Us: ·        Be part of a recognised and acknowledged leader in IT logistics in South Africa ·        Opportunity to lead and grow a key branch of the company. ·        Work in a dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. ·        Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals committed to excellence.
