Hire Resolve - Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator A leading recruitment agency, Hire Resolve, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join our client's team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost estimation and quantity surveying activities for construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and profitable project estimates. Responsibilities: Preparing detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for construction projects Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Preparing and submitting bids and proposals Managing project budgets and monitoring costs Identifying and analyzing project risks and proposing mitigation strategies Collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimating, with at least 3 years in a senior role Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies Proficiency in estimation software and tools Excellent analytical and mathematical skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional registration or certification is preferred Benefits: Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
