As part of the ooba Group’s multi-product growth strategy, a new role has been designed to grow sales revenue and market share through the acquisition of new lead sources across new and existing products.Based in Cape Town (hybrid) and reporting directly to our ooba Home Loans Head of Sales, the ooba Home Loans Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth at a national level.Required Qualification & ExperienceMatric5 + years’ business development/sales experiencePrevious banking (home loans) and/or real estate experience and existing relationships with industry, i.e. real estate agents, attorney PROs, Portal Relationship Managers, etc., essentialProven track record of outstanding sales performance in a multi-product environmentRequired Skills & KnowledgeExpert sales / business development skills, including market analysis; business planning and opportunity managementExpert relationship management skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong networking skillsPresenting and public speakingIntermediate to advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS OutlookRequired CompetenciesCommercial DriveMotivationMarket OrientationPersuasivenessPresentingResults-orientatedDriveNegotiationKey Performance AreasDrive growth & acquisitions of new business within ooba Homeloans.
