These jobs were popular with other job seekers Permanent Full Time Published: 5 days ago Market Related EE/AA Easy apply IntroductionA vacancy exists in teh Cape Town Branch, to be at 14 Nourse Avenue, Epping Inudstrial Park, for the following position:Payroll AdministratorIn line with the Bidvest Laundry Group Employment Equity objectives, preferences will be given to people from designated groups.Duties & ResponsibilitiesComprehensive knowledge and understanding of Payspace/ Dynamics, and the reporting tools in Payspace/ Dynamics.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding on Time & Attendance reporting systems and toolsComprehensive knowledge and understanding of legislation related to the processing of Payroll.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of administrative requirements and systems relating to the running and processing of payrollComprehensive understanding of debits, credits and journalsBasic understanding of the Tax Year End.Basic understanding of IR related legislation and codes of good practicesBasic understanding of finance, financial systemsBasic understanding of labor rekations, grievance procedures and disciplinary procedures and the ability to expedite relevant actions/ measures.Ability to process payroll from start to finishAbility to process all 3rd party payments, i.e. Unions, Garnishee payments, etc.Ability to prepare cheques and EFT's for processingAbility to identofy/ analyse variances from month to month for variable and fixed amountsAbility to ensure that clocking and payroll input data gas been accuraataly captures by checking the input vs the output i.e. checking hours, date per hour, salaried and deductions are correctAbility to submit monthly reports to the Financial, Human Resources, Operations and Payroll departmentsAbility to ensure that accurate records of sick leave, annual leave, family responsibility leave are up to date Ability to liaise with management regarding staff appointments, terminations, remuneration, conditiond of service and other relevant informationAbility to ensure that all administrative functions relating to Payspace/ Dynamics/ Biometrics, including but not limited to backups and rollovers are done eficiently and accuratelyAbility to prepare and reconcile monthly salaries and wages on a regular basisAbility to calculate and process all increases and bonuses as per wage agreementsAbility to design (where applicable), implement and maintain systems and procedures to ensure accurate administrative/ recordkeeping systemsAbility to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlinesAbility to perform minute taking activities and sending out meeting requests as and when requiredAbility to develop and maintain an accurate administrative system regarding all HR/ IR/ Payroll related files/ records/ documents effectively and efficientlyAbility to assist the Financial Manager and admin related tasksAbility to manage employee relationships and union relationships effectivelyExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writingProficient computer literacy on MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and company related software.QualificationsGrade 12/ NQF level #4 or equivalentLiteracy and numeracy on NQF level #4 and higher (Compulsory)Computer Literacy on NQF level #4 and higher (CompulsoryExperience RequiredMinimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Payroll administrator with exposure to reporting tools in Payspace/ Dynamics Payroll System, Time and Attendence/ Biometric systems, KNowledge of the PRP Honeycomb Time and Attendance system wil l be an advantage.Package & RemunerationMarket Related Textiles, Clothing, Leather & Fashion These jobs were popular with other job seekersFirst Garment Rental T/A Bidvest Laundry Group#J-18808-Ljbffr
