The Delivery Manager assumes authority and accountability for the successful delivery of a portfolio of profitable projects, client satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. The Delivery Manager is a problem solver, a team lead for project managers, and an effective communicator with a high level of emotional intelligence suited to a fast-paced, fluid organization.Delivery ManagementLead and manage portfolio projects, ensuring accountability for outcomes, timelines, budgets, and quality, with collaboration across departments being crucialDemonstrate advanced commercial reasoning, understanding how changes in timeline, budget, and quality impact revenue forecasted and recognizedConduct financial analysis and reporting for portfolio projects.Work closely with Account Directors and other Heads to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. After project initiation, transition responsibility of the project to the Project ManagerCultivate strong client relationships, managing their needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycleFoster inter-departmental collaboration to achieve project and organizational goalsEnsure each project has up-to-date project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirementsMonitor project progress, providing guidance and support to Project Managers in project execution, risk management, and issue resolutionEnsure effective communication and reporting to stakeholders, catering to both commercial and project excellence-focused audiencesAct as a point of escalation for client and internal issues and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
