C&I Team Our control and instrumentation team are growing and are working on many future focussed and interesting solutions for our clients. We work across the automation pyramid from sensor to just below the ERP level. As an infrastructure design house we also work closely with our BIM (Building information teams) to link the static 3D data and asset metadata with dynamic real-time data. We aim to create industrial data nervous systems and digital representations that empowers our clients to automate, make better decisions and innovate. We manage the C&I project lifecycle (working with contractors) as well as implement strategic software and data related projects. We serve many different markets, but currently our main markets are water, renewable energy and mining. Role responsibilities Design and implementation of control and instrumentation for industrial plants and infrastructure which may include: Industrial data and network architecture Instrumentation selection PLC, SCADA and HMI software Historian and timeseries databases Data warehousing Reporting Responsibilities during the full C&I project lifecycle which may include: Feasibility and concept design Detail Design Review and verification of designs Specification and Tender Documents Managing and quality assurance of C&I contractors Managing and quality assurance of PLC/SCADA and HMI development And/or implementation of PLC, SCADA and HMI development Testing and commissioning BSc/MSc, or BEng/MEng in Electrical/Mechatronic/Computer Electrical or Electronic Engineering Minimum of 5 or more years’ experience as a C&I engineer and or system integrator. Beneficial experience 10 years’ experience ECSA Registered Industrial software (PLC, SCADA, Historian) development experience such as Data engineering and data warehousing Digital twin implementation MQTT experience Python SQL Unity PowerBI, Superset Azure and AWS solutions architect We believe that a diverse workforce is a key to our business success.
