Responsibilities: The Cost and Management Accountant will be responsible for leading the accurate costing, accounting, reporting and profitability of various projects within the businessPrepare cost estimates based on briefs received from the Project ManagersAccurate allocation of time and resources spent on various projectsAccurate allocation of group overheads to various projectsComparing purchase orders against this budget/cost estimateMonitoring actual spend against budgetCapturing of invoices against the various projects in the accounting systemSubmitting all relevant invoices for paymentReporting on project profitability vs budgetPrepare variance analysisMaintaining all relevant source documents/accounting records for audit trailIncorporation of new companies on Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and maintenance of all related statutory requirementsMonthly pay run preparationBi-monthly cashflow reconciliation for all costs incurred, per project Requirements: B. Com, B. Acc, Cost and Management Accounting Degree/Diploma or any related accounting qualificationMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience in an infrastructure environmentAbility to accurately reconcile accountsHandle daily issues with confidence and competenceExperience with CIPC will be beneficialAttention to detail and highly organised
