Intern: Data Analyst (Logistics/Warehousing) An exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about data analysis and its applications in Logistics and Warehousing. As a Data Analyst specializing in logistics and warehousing, your role will be crucial in supporting warehouse operations and decision-making.Responsibilities:Data Collection and Analysis:Gather data related to warehouse processes, inventory levels, shipping, and logistics.Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Reporting and Insights:Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights to the Warehouse Manager.Present findings on inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, and supply chain performance.Process Optimization:Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize processes.Use data to recommend improvements in inventory management, order processing, and logistics.Inventory Control:Monitor stock levels, track inventory turnover, and identify slow-moving items.Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.Supply Chain Coordination:Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.Analyze transportation data to improve delivery routes and reduce costs.Qualification and Experience:Possess a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.Technical Skills:Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).Ability to create meaningful reports and communicate insights effectively.Benefits of a Carrol Boyes Internship: Gain experience in a luxury retail environmentAn amazing opportunity to work at an established and well-known homeware brand where you will be exposed to the different facets of a fast-paced business.
