Manager: Data Management - Cape Town, South Africa - Ventura Smiths DescriptionA client in Cape Town is seeking a manager for their Data Management team as followsTo manage a team of Data Managers that will implement a DM framework across the org.Recruit, mentor, coach and guide your DM team, as an SME in the DM fieldSet Data Governance standards across the org, incl. Data Protection, Security and QA protocolsPlan Agile projects to support businesss Data goals with related processes, policies and practicesEngage with Data Product Owners and Service Owners across the organization to accomplish itEnsure the AWS migration team's Data requirements for cloud migration are met_(Azure exp. will count)_Engage with Vendors to support your initiatives with DM tools (currently using Collibra/ MANTA)Ideally you will have Collibra (a metadata catalog) and MANTA exp.
