My client, a stable and successful leader in their field in the wholesale and distribution sector, is in search of a hands-on Financial Manager to take charge of the organization’s financial health. You will oversee the accounting function, ensuring precise financial reporting, and managing day-to-day financial operations. As the successful individual you will be a detail-oriented professional with strong ethical values and excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities: Full function bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and current financial records Reconciliation of all accounts, including supplier statements, accounts payable and receivable, and bank statements Preparation for authorization of payments, including foreign transactions, through online banking systems Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure the accuracy of the petty cash system Coordinate month-end accruals and manage daily cash flow for bank accounts Oversee the processing of sales, purchases, and payroll documents Ensure timely submission of VAT, Income Tax (IRP5), and other statutory submissions via efiling Support the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports Assist with the implementation and management of financial systems to ensure efficiency and compliance Coordinate with auditors for the year-end audit and ensure timely submission of CIPC Annual returns Manage the full process of foreign imports, including cost calculations and compliance with banking regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr
