2024-05-16 - 2024-06-15 Permanent EL002625 Manufacturing, Production and Trades Western Cape , Cape Town We are seeking an Instrumentation Technician for a permanent role based in Bellville, Western Cape Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 and qualified instrumentation technician – instrumentation red seal certified 5+ years relevant experience in maintenance of large instrumentation installations 5+ years relevant experience in Citect SCADA, Ethernet networks&PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation and VSD operations / set up High level of computer literacy on MS Office Code 8 drivers and prepared to travel long distances Willing to do standby duties as needed The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensure application of and adherence to maintenance information system and ensure all assets are clearly marked and controlled Attend to field instrumentation faults and breakdowns Plan/perform routine services, repairs, and preventative maintenance Advanced understanding of equipment&reliability concepts Ensure specified, approved, and contractual required stock levels are kept High standards of monitoring&reporting on field instrumentation equipment condition Assist with pricing, tendering and implementation on new instrumentation installations Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation through to janineh@sheldon.co.za with “Instrumentation Tech WC” in the subject line If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful #J-18808-Ljbffr
