List of Duties include but aren’t limited to: Application development and support using Delphi and SQL Developing applications written by and/or supported by Prophet Gathering information by talking to customers, project managers and other staff to form a specification of a modification and then give a brief of the requirement Interact with customers for fault resolution and training on new and modified systems Being on 24/7 call on the rota (typically 4-6 times a year for one week at a time). Help to train other staff in-house and bring junior programmers up to speed, as well as being available to assist other programmers in areas with which they are less familiar Site visits will be required Any other related tasks as required by the line manager Job Specifications, Standards and Requirements: Essential skills are: Delphi, SQL. Desirable: ability to work in a team and also alone on a specific project. Good customer-facing manner. Delphi, SQL Server 2005 and later. Job Location: Reporting to: The Managing Director (SA).
