Tertiary qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Procurement At least 5 years’ experience at a Senior level in Procurement Strong and proven track record of achieving results Excellent Computer skills (Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint) Exposure to Timber Industry would be highly recommended and beneficial. Duties will include but not limited to: ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) - Sales Forecast from Retail&Bulk Stock levels and Strategic minimum stock Supplier lead times and minimum order quantities. Supplier Development - Securing alternative suppliers for all products. Reference checking Quality ratings Managing samples and specifications. Procurement - Order administration Minimum order quantities Terms Deliveries Price negotiations - Obtaining mandates from CEO. Securing offers from various suppliers. Confirming Quality of products. Confirming reliability of supplier deliveries and quality of communications. Product Development - Collates needs analysis from Retail&Bulk Sales Collates product range availability from Suppliers New products that have been accepted by Exco, the specs, process and quality standards need to be signed off.
