Our client in the Automotive Industry requires the services an experience HR Officer to temporarily join their team. Duties&Responsibilities Key performance areas: Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, policy updates, and diversity initiatives. Assist with employment equity monthly maintenance and annual reporting Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws. Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various HR topics, such as harassment prevention, leadership development, and performance management. Assist with recruitment&selection process by conducting interviews and reference checks Conducting exit interviews Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Desired Experience&Qualification The successful candidate must have: Matric with an Degree in Human Resources or related field Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role (Motor Industry experience preferable) Experience with Sage People will be advantageous Must have In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships at all levels Must have excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Must be proficiency in MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. A positive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to take on new tasks.
