This company provides products and services based on state of art research combining different satellite data and sources for several applications. Currently, this company monitors via space satellites the structural stability and health of public and private civil infrastructures such as buildings, railways, roads, bridges, dams, pipelines and docks. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of experts in Earth Observation (EO) Develop and implement strategic visions for the evolution of EO technologies and their market applications Oversee software development processes, ensuring efficient and effective software factory practices Drive innovation in AI applications within the EO domain, from concept to deployment Manage intellectual property (IP) portfolios, ensuring proper protection and utilization of innovations Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals with market needs and opportunities Requirements : Advanced degree in Earth Observation (EO), Geospatial Sciences, Remote Sensing, or related field, or equivalent experience Proven track record in the EO industry, with hands-on experience and knowledge of the latest advancements Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with a clear vision for market evolution and strong leadership skills Experience in collaborating with software development units Expertise in AI technologies applied to EO Knowledge and experience in managing intellectual property, including patents and trade secrets Must be based in or willing to relocate to Rome, Italy Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
