Financial Manager position available in Somerset West.Business partner to site-based Lead Team. Operational and tactical financial leadership to a Mega Manufacturing plant.Duties and Responsibilities:Operational Finance:Driving Governance at siteManage the weekly cash-up forecasting models against plan and driving continuous improvement with business unit managementManage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives for business unit by optimising finance efficiencies at the unitEnsuring the financial compliance of the business meets the standards as outlined per standardisedGroup operating procedures and work instructionsDriving the roll out of standardisation at business unit and managing the standard day of direct reportsOptimise resources – Staff, IT and systemsWorking capital management:Debtors: managing of applicable rebates, discounts and overduesCreditors: Ensuring all liabilities are recorded, all compliance linked to the operational aspects of order origination, POD’s, receipting and cost recording is managed in line with SOPs and work instructions.Stock: manage optimal stock holdings for paper, finished goods and engineering spares holdingManage the business unit’s payroll costs with oversight of overtime planned and incurred.Driving return on capital employed (ROCE)Project management, *** review, EVA modelling.Annual Process:Manage site annual budget processManage site annual external audit processManage site BEE submission processReporting:Completion of and on-time submission of monthly management reporting packMonthly forecasting using newly implemented FP&A system.Reporting of analysis of key drivers (waste, GP, rebates and all variable & fixed inputs)BOM Analysis on variable costPeople Management:Management of site finance team with dotted lines to functions performed centrally by Shared Services.Contribute to Training and skills development of Corruseal Finance TeamsMinimum Requirements:3-year BCom Degree with post graduate CIMA qualification.10 + Years’ experience in a finance leadership roleManufacturing and product costing experience essentialKey Competencies and Skills:Influencer with sound problem solving skillsHigh energy, tenacity and resilience requiredAbility to reduce admin burden focusing on outputAbility to manage multiple prioritiesDecision maker – work hand in hand with Operations Manager and Distribution Manager to control and run the plant.Project management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
