Sales Engineer - Surface Drill Rigs Business based in CarolinaMain Functions:Sales of DTH and (TH) drill rigs in South Africa and neighboring countriesPost sale site handover and operational training of rigsConstant monitoring and feedback of drill rig performanceManagement and resolution of technical and commercial issuesMaintaining customer relationships and trustSales of drill tools and consumables (hammers/bits/drill rods etc)Serve as liaison between service teams and customer .Knowledge base:Should have an established client base of surface drilling contractors, mine and quarry managers and other relevant industry stakeholders.Should have a thorough understanding of the blast hole landscape (competitors / available products / terminology)Should ideally be able to operate a drill rig with ease.Reporting and other:Reports to the shareholders of the businessNeeds to be self-motivated and a self-starterAlthough the business is based in Carolina, the candidate location is flexible eg. Pretoria / East Rand / Witbank / Middelburg. Remuneration:Approx R70k CTC plus a commission on sales.
