To work remotely in South Africa for an Irish Company with a division in Sri Lanka. We are seeking a Client Manager to lead the Company’s first pod, consisting of a team of 5 based in Sri Lanka, and then report directly to the Partner. The ideal candidate would also possess the capability to undertake general management and training responsibilities, laying the groundwork for future Client Managers as the Company expands their pod structure over the next 24 months. Someone who can confidently represent the Company, demonstrate professionalism in Client meetings and contribute to the team's growth in Sri Lanka. Attributes: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SMEs in an accounting practice environment. Proven track record in leading a team of accountants and bookkeepers, overseeing 30-50 clients across various tiers. A sharp, ambitious individual with a strong drive to add value to our practice and client businesses. Tech-savviness with a quick adaptability to cloud software. Commitment to a minimum of two years, aiming for long-term growth within our Company. Important areas are: · Professional conduct in remote settings. As we expand, we seek a Client Manager who is not only a self-starter with a vision for excellence but also driven to significantly impact our clients and the company. Job Description As a Senior Client Manager, your primary mission is to oversee our premium Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, offering comprehensive support across accounting, tax, and business advisory services. Your responsibilities extend to: ● You will lead a team of 5 including 1 Team Lead - Accounts Production and 4 Accountants, Bookkeepers ● Conducting final reviews of all work produced by the accounts production team. ● Elevating the team's capabilities through targeted training and standard-setting. ● Developing efficient internal processes for all facets of accounts production. ● Ensuring the timely delivery of management financial reports for all clients. ● Facilitating smooth onboarding and continuous training for new clients. ● Serving as the primary escalation point for junior team members. ● Implementing rigorous quality control measures and process enhancements. ● Validating the accuracy and completeness of tax returns and financial statements. ● Enhancing client engagement through education and communication. ● Supporting year-end accounting efforts with necessary reports and software access. ● Managing remote team members effectively. ● Acting as a 'product champion' by identifying, evaluating, and integrating new software solutions into our practice, coupled with comprehensive training for all team members. ● Build deep meaningful relationships with both team members and clients. We are not just a compliance service delivery for our clients. Our clients rely on us. ● Ensure client emails are responded to within 24 hours ● Write professional email, easily understandable, polite, jargon-free emails to clients. ● Conduct online Zoom calls professionally. This means attending calls from a well-lit room with good audio and visual capabilities on time, every time. ● Be available to respond to teammates' requests before COB daily. Processes and quality control ● Understand client service agreements and manage “scope creep” ● Understand allocated time per client job and manage the delivery of work within budget ● Ensure people are working on the right thing at the right time. Experience ● Fully qualified accountant with 3-5 years of accounting practice experience (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ATI ) ● High level of technical knowledge to review all accounts' production work ● Experience preparing monthly management reports for SME’s ● Experience preparing all the usual tax returns for companies and soletraders (Irish training will be provided) ● Experience in Xero or comparable bookkeeping software (Quickbooks, Surf, Sage Online) ● Other systems include Dear Inventory, Dext, Parolla/Brightpay, Fathom HQ/Syft, other Xero marketplace plug-ins, Amazon marketplace, Shopify/WooCommerce, and Google Office. ● Company pension after 1 years of service #J-18808-Ljbffr
