TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Admin, Underwriting and Claims Manager within the Financial Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.Job Summary:The Admin, Underwriting, and Claims Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative functions, underwriting processes, and claims handling within the organization. This role involves ensuring efficient operations, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and providing leadership to the administrative, underwriting, and claims teams.Responsibilities and Duties:Administrative Management:Supervise daily administrative operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiencyDevelop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational effectivenessManage budgets, prepare reports, and ensure optimal allocation of resourcesCoordinate with other departments to support organizational goals and objectivesUnderwriting Management:Oversee the underwriting process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk assessment standardsDevelop and review underwriting guidelines, policies, and proceduresMonitor underwriting performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectivenessEnsure proper training and development of underwriting staffClaims Management:Manage the claims process, ensuring timely and fair resolution of claimsDevelop and enforce claims handling procedures and policiesMonitor claims metrics and implement improvements to reduce loss ratios and enhance customer satisfactionOversee complex and high-value claims, providing expertise and guidance as neededLeadership and Team Development:Lead, mentor, and motivate the administrative, underwriting, and claims teamsConduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and create professional development plansFoster a collaborative and positive work environmentEnsure ongoing training and development opportunities for team membersCompliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsDevelop and implement risk management strategiesConduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvementCustomer Service:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing customer service standards and resolving escalated issuesDevelop and implement customer service policies and proceduresMonitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on insightsQualifications and Skills:Matric / Grade 12FAIS accreditation as per the FSCA requirementsRE certificateMinimum 5 years' short term insurance experienceMinimum 5 years’ commercial insurance experienceMinimum 2 years' management or Team Leader experienceProven experience in a leadership role with strong management and team development skillsIn-depth knowledge of underwriting processes, claims handling, and insurance regulationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels*The company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.#J-18808-Ljbffr
