The Host is responsible for the overseeing of daily front office desk operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment.Minimum requirementsMatricHotel Management Diploma (advantageous)Minimum 2 years experience in the same or similar positionMulti-venue experience advantageousStrong OPERA knowledgeValid driver's license and own vehicle (advantageous)Duties and responsibilitiesCourteously and accurately answer enquiries from potential guestsAccept hotel reservationsRespond to enquiries (telephone, email, in person) regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concernsResolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality serviceAllocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking guest preferences and special requestsAssist all departments in servicing the guests especially during high volume periodsAdhere to company credit limit / floor limit policiesControls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bankAnalysing customer feedback and providing strategic direction to continually improve overall ratingResponding to guest needs and anticipating their unstated onesPromote all guest amenities, conveniences and programs offeredRecommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-seeDue to the large volume of applications received, only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.If you have not heard back from us in 2 weeks, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
