REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3 years proven track record in achieving sales targets at a head-office level Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite Good general business knowledge and savvy Detailed product knowledge Detailed credit risk, legal risk and operational risk understanding Knowledge of unsecured and secured lending products and the industry (including competing products, discounts and pricing structures) Experienced understanding of business financial statements Core Competencies and Skills Ability to understand a customer’s needs, requirements, challenges, opportunities and business practices and adjust sales pitch accordingly Ability to structure lending solutions in combination with various products Competent to deliver a sales pitch Maintaining and growing key relationships Ability to understand and read financial statements and structure lending solutions suited for the financial risk and position of the customer Good understanding of the credit life cycle and scoring process Ability to cold call and source new business and set-up new origination channels Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and directed Ability to build lasting relationships with clients Verbal and written communication skills Strong emotional intelligence attributes Ability to collaborate with, lead and educate fellow staff Adeptness at analysing facts, problem-solving, decision-making, and demonstrating good judgment Practical knowledge of CRM, use and execution for higher-level or pipeline management efficiencies Ability to understand and discuss the loan agreement with customers Accepts personal responsibility for performance commitments and objectives.
