Working with Director(s) alongside a legal team of specialized professionals. To provide legal support and research and provide legal opinions. Key Responsibilities: HDSA/BEE/SHA structuring Providing services/advice relating to compliance with regulatory requirements Liaison with various regulatory authorities. Assisting in all litigation matters and deposing to affidavits, where required. Liaison with attorneys and advocates and gathering any witnesses and statements, where required Advice on potential claims in favour of Oza Holdings Group and attend to any letters of demand Attending court matters in relation to matters before any court of competent jurisdiction. Research and shortlisting of attorneys or counsel, experts in relation to any case at any given time Dealing with IOs&SAPS on criminal and civil matters. Attending to and giving advice on CCMA/IR Matters Providing Legal research, opinion and advise on assigned legal matters Drafting and reviewing legal agreements, as required from time to time Preparing and maintaining a contract’s register on the ERP filing system Maintaining original contract files on assigned cabinet files Ensuring compliance with initial contract terms like CPs Liaison with external Law firms or other legal service providers Assisting Human Resources with respective Industrial Relation matters (Advisory, representative role) Deal with debt collection process and any matters incidental thereto Ensure the co-ordination of procurement and implementation processes for any projects at any given time Minimum requirements: LLB 1 to 3 years’ legal experience (post articles) in a similar role in a law firm or mining company Other legal qualifications, admission as an attorney or served articles will be an advantage Experience in litigation, contract drafting and labour related matters Excellent communication (verbal and written) Computer skills in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) #J-18808-Ljbffr
