Role Purpose/Business Unit: The Business Transformation Manager will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale cross-functional projects and strategic transformational initiatives. Will be required to shape the future of the business by taking strategic initiatives from ideas, translating these into business cases and tangible plans, and delivering all activities that are required to ensure the effective release of new change programs into the business. Your responsibilities will include: Business Strategy Develop a Transformational Business Strategy and Roadmap for the organisation with a view of identifying Transformation / Digital Opportunities that will help pivot the business for new revenue streams Proactively identifying future change initiatives to further transform the business Define the transformation vision, journey and delivery model for implementing transformation solutions Assesses external transformational opportunities and threats as key inputs to making the best decisions on business strategy Analysis & Design Take ideas from inception, creating clear and structured business cases to evidence the value future changes will bring Break down complex problems into clear, manageable action plans and deliverables Facilitate design thinking workshops or sprints to define transformation solutions and potential roadmaps for implementation Leads the process to identify and evaluate internal capabilities and strengths Ensure the business is developing the capabilities that will be needed to survive and thrive in the midterm and long term Challenge business process and decisions to ensure the business achieves the right outcomes . Implementation & Programme Management Lead the implementation of the transformational business strategy and roadmap, and ensure its integration with the enterprise strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans Provide a single point of coordination and executive oversight for all digital initiatives and transformation projects Work closely with development and operational teams to jointly create and develop workable solutions which enhance the customer proposition and deliver added value and tangible results Leading programme delivery in a controlled and consistent manner, clearly communicating status updates, proactively managing risks and issues, and ensuring business readiness prior to delivery Facilitating the delivery of wider business programmes, embedding the correct methodologies across all key activities Performance & Change Management Work with the analytics and insight team, setting up key metrics and reporting to track benefits, taking a data-driven approach to shape the deliverables Define and report on transformational business KPIs and metrics that represent progress against transformational goals Act as a champion and change agent in leading the organizational changes required to create and sustain enterprise digital capabilities The ideal candidate for this role will have: Bachelor's degree –Business or Technical degree or Diploma Post-graduate qualification in a related field – (Preferred) 3-5 years relevant experience essential in business development and transformation Core competencies, knowledge and experience: Strong analytical; research and forecasting skills Ability to work cross functionally in order to achieve desired results Strong presentation skills Excellent verbal and written skills Customer focus with regards to understanding the service being delivered This role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple disciplines relevant to the business 8-10 year's experience working experience in: Business & Commercial Acumen Strategy & Vision Digital Enablement Resilience Critical Thinking Change management Stakeholder management Proven business analysis skills Leading and supervisory skills Persuading and influencing Planning and organising Presenting and communicating information 2yrs Leadership/Managerial experience – given leadership skills required Closing date for Applications: 14 June 2024.
