The African Union Development Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Administrative Assistant. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations or their delegate, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for administrative and logistic duties within the Director of Operations office. Required Skills and Competencies: Excellent administration and office management skills as well as a good understanding of office practices and procedures.Excellent writing and work presentation skills, with attention to the aesthetics of documents.Professional integrity and ability to always maintain confidentiality.Ability to work with a team of professional staff and other colleagues.Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills, especially telephone and public relations skills. Good knowledge of the secretarial functions of international organisations such as AUDA-NEPAD.Ability to work with minimal supervision, proactive and creative.Possession of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, and passion for high-quality work.Good analytical, organization and planning skills.Capacity to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure with a wide range of individuals and institutions. Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment. Education and Experience : Minimum of a High School Certificate and a College Diploma in General Administration, Office Administration, Management and / or social sciences or a related field. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsibility in administrative, secretarial, logistics and clerical work experience, including at least two (2) years in the field of office administration.
