Vice President - Midrand, South Africa - The Hutech International Group DescriptionGauteng, Midrand- (Market related)_ This role form's part the Company's Executive Committee and reports to the President & CEO and is essential for the delivery of business objectives and strategic goals.__ Position:Vice President - Commercial__Industry:Mining__Location:Head Office / MIDRAND - JHB__Salary:Market-Related Salary_PURPOSE OF THE JOB:This role form's part the Company's Executive Committee and reports to the President & CEO and is essential for the delivery of business objectives and strategic goals.Provision of strategic and leadership direction in the company's Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Procurement functions.Promote and expand the company's commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.QUALIFICATION(S) AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Relevant bachelor's degree qualification or equivalent.Master's Degree in relevant field, or Master's in business administration.Management and Leadership Development Programme will be an added advantage.Driver's licence and be able to travel locally, regionally, and internationally.EXPERIENCE:15 years plus in Commercial, Marketing & Procurement Function in the mining & mineral / chemical environment.8 years plus on a Senior management level reporting on Board level.Develop the Commercial; Sales & Marketing; and Procurement businesscase in partnership with Divisional Executives; CEO and the Board.Giving oversight and direction on shipment schedule, finances, and pricing management activities respectively.Supporting the Bid & Pre-Sales teams with timely and accurate vendor technology and pricing information and strategic insights.Understanding of market trends, the business, competitors, and their products.Experience in the Commercial; Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain functions.Strong communication, salespitch, customer oriented and research skills.Experience in building and managing strong team, as well as in remote/virtual work environment.Handling and maintaining confidentially, particularly around the Company's trade secrets and competitive edge.Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.Accountable for oversight role in facilitation and coordination of overall activities of Commercial Function, such as import of commodities and export processes.Knowledge of applicable custom duties and taxes on imports and exports.Developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy, and delegating tasks to their team and play the support and oversight role.Represent and champion the company's brand and drive strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.Delegating and coordinating the procurement tasks to the relevant team members.Supporting and guiding the supplier performance evaluation processes.Providing strategic leadership towards inclusive procurement and host communities empowerment in line with the BBBEE regulations._Closing date:Wednesday, the 9th of August 2023_Contact:Estee Van der Merwe - RoetsExecutive Recruitment & Headhunt SpecialistB Com HR /HEDNeurolife Transformation CoachPOPIA Disclaimer:The processing of your personal information and sharing it with third parties for verifications.The exercising of your rights provided for by POPIA.To acknowledge that Hutech International Group (Pty) Ltd will keep the record of your personal information confidential.For more information please contact:Reuben van der Klashorst Share this jobMore jobs from The Hutech International Group#J-18808-Ljbffr
