Vacancy Location: Middelburg SPCA, Middelburg, Mpumalanga Job title: Veterinary Nurse/AHT The MIDDELBURG SPCA seeks the services of an animal health technician or veterinary nurse to perform the following duties: Basic animal care Administration of prescribed medicines Wound care Assist a veterinarian or para-veterinarian Vaccinations and medicines under vet control Implementation of parasite control Primary animal health care in the indigent community Perform any duties authorised in terms of legislation Euthanasia The employer will apply for extension of registration to perform euthanasia on the employee’s behalf. Requirements Holder of a formal qualification as an Animal Health Technician or Veterinary Nurse Registration with South African Veterinary Council A passion for animals Good people skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a team A valid endorsed driver’s license Valid Police Clearance Certificate Your CV, proof of qualifications, proof of registration with the SAVC and salary expectations, must be forwarded to manager@mspca.co.za by no later than 31 May 2024.
