Technology and Engineering Graphics and Design Teacher Technology and Engineering Graphics and Design Teacher Applications are invited for the following permanent position commencing in January 2025. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Applicants should: hold a Bachelor of Education and/or Post Graduate Certificate in Education be registered with SACE be fully qualified to teach Technology (Grades 8&9) be fully qualified to teach EGAD (Grades 10 to 12) have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar teaching position understand current best practices in education have experience in independent education to Grade 12 level and with the IEB curriculum REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Suitable candidates should: have a willingness to engage with students and their families on a personal level to help children in the best way possible demonstrate planning and organisational skills with superior detail orientation possess a willingness to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme possess knowledge of using ICT to enhance teaching and to complete administration; particularly experience with CAD support the Catholic ethos of the school commit to the school’s transformation, equity and belonging strategic objectives in support of an equitable, inclusive and safe school environment for all MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be required to: create appropriate teaching materials and resources be responsible for all duties as required of a teacher lead a classroom first by example of conduct and then by instructing students through excellent teaching adhere to the guidelines and requirements of the school’s calendar incorporate the school’s values into daily teaching remain abreast of developments and best practices in teaching Interested, suitably qualified applicants are to submit an updated Curriculum Vitae and motivation letter to the email address below.
