Build Recruitment are working with a leading London based University to appoint a Mechanical Engineer. Up to £43k + excellent benefits. Based in central London, the University has a mixed portfolio consisting of Listed Buildings and state of the art teaching space. Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the Building Services Maintenance Team and the FM Helpdesk reporting on the status / completion of Reactive, PPM and Cyclical maintenance works across the portfolio. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for completing mechanical maintenance works across the portfolio across all mechanical building services to include AC systems, AHUs FCUs and a working knowledge of BMS and CAFM systems. Key Experience / Qualifications required: A minimum of City&Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance Experience of BMS Experience of Fault-Finding and Maintenance of Mechanical Building Services to include AC systems, AHUs, and FCUs. Working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems and/or databases. Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills. A positive and proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues.
