Overview The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for managing, leading, and controlling engineering maintenance activities. In this position, the job incumbent will be part of the engineering instrumentation team and play an important role in working closely with various engineering teams and other departments to achieve the desired equipment uptime and efficiency through effective planning and execution of maintenance of instrumentation equipment plant-wide. This position is a great opportunity for the incumbent to display their skills in resolving challenges associated with breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs of instrumentation equipment. JOB OBJECTIVES Support the achievement of the operational plan. Participate in the management of the specific maintenance plan for the relevant discipline/section. Ensure plant/process is fully operational. Optimize plant automation. Project management. Adherence and compliance with all HSEQ legislation, policy&procedures. Supervising the team. Adhere to section cost control measures. Perform administrative tasks as required. Requirements: N5 Instrumentation Trade Certificate. 5 years’ relevant working experience. Computer literacy (Intermediate to advanced). SCADA – Advanced level (instrumentation only). PLC – Advanced level (instrumentation only). Driver’s license.
