Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies Perform financial analysis and provide insights to the management team Coordinate with auditors during the annual audit process Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA articles preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training&Development Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
