An exciting and new opportunity is available at our Nelspruit practice for a Senior Audit ManagerRole Summary:Senior Audit Manager role in NER with growth opportunities. Assume responsibility for a large diverse client portfolio of Circa R10 million in fees with the assistance of junior managers and SA2 roles. This will include Private clients ,public sector clients as well as listed entities where opportunity is expected to arise.Qualifications / Certifications required:Chartered Accountant (South Africa)Experience required:Minimum of 36 months post-Articles experience as an Audit engagement managerPreferred experience:Agriculture and mining related Audit experience Responsibilities of role:Primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:To manage a client portfolio of circa R10million in fees To lead and guide junior managers and SA2 staff in support of managing the client portfolioTo support the SAICA process as evaluator in the officeTo provide training and coaching to trainees and ensure trainees develop and progress successfully in their rolesTo assume responsibility for risk management of the portfolio and manage acceptance and independence processesTo assume responsibility for the financial management of the portfolio including carbon budgeted, managing recoveries, managing billings and collections to ensure partners remain
