For a great client of ours (a fast growing Education business with a purpose), we are currently looking for a Campus Manager for Mbombela in Mpumalanga. With no direct report, the person will be mainly responsible for the Strategy&Operations for the Campus and the primary role will be to find ways to: Ensure of smooth operation management of the Campus But also to find ways to grow the footprint and number of students (The successful person will work closely with the Sales team, work on engaging with local communities, organise events... ) There is about 25 employees reporting to their respective functions (Matrix organisation). The role report to the Head of GMs. There is a total of 12 campuses in South Africa and Mbombela is a very important one. Relevant postgraduate qualification (preferably commerce) is required; an undergraduate qualification may be considered for candidates with a proven track record of relevant experience At least five years' management experience in a higher education environment Commercial knowledge and skills – understand profit and loss statements and the key drivers of income and expenses Matrix management know-how SLA management skills and know-how Good understanding regarding the development and maintenance of a high-performance culture Good understanding of customer experience principles and its impact on student success and student experience Good understanding of academic processes and regulatory frameworks, as well as academic products and product development processes Up to 550-650.000 zar per annum + bonus.
