We are looking for a dynamic, independent, experienced and skilled accountant to run the accounting office at a farming operation. Responsibilities include:Monthly accounting records up to trial balance.Monthly management accounts.VAT processing.Qualifications/experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent).Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles.At least 5 years experience.Fully proficient in Pastel (accounting and payroll), Microsoft Office suite, SARS E-Filing, U-Filing, ROE.Personal attributes:Self-driven and ability to meet deadlines without micro-managing.Good people skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strict timeline and deadline management.Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work fast and accurately at the same time.Ability to work under pressure.Hardworking, reliable and dependable.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Energetic, initiative-taking and pro-active.Remuneration:Negotiable depending on experience.Please email CV to charles@greyvan.co.za#J-18808-Ljbffr
