We are looking to hire a TA Technician who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products through meticulous testing, analysis, and documentation. What you’ll do:Installation assistance: helping with the installation of turnstiles at various locations, which may involve tasks such as positioning, wiring, and configuring the turnstile system.Maintenance: conducting routine maintenance checks on turnstile systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. This includes inspecting components, cleaning, lubricating moving parts, and making any necessary adjustments or repairs.Troubleshooting: diagnosing and resolving issues with turnstile operation, such as sensor malfunctions, mechanical failures, or software glitches. This may involve testing components and replacing parts.Customer support: providing assistance to customers who encounter problems or have questions about their turnstile systems. This could involve troubleshooting over the phone or via email, as well as scheduling on-site visits if needed.Training: educating customers or other technicians on how to use and maintain turnstile systems properly. This may include conducting training sessions or providing instructional materials.Documentation: keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and customer interactions. This documentation helps track the history of each turnstile system and provides valuable information for future troubleshooting.Upgrades and enhancements: advising customers on potential upgrades or enhancements to their turnstile systems to improve performance, security, or user experience. This could involve recommending new features or technologies and assisting with the installation and integration process.Field support (24x7 – standby): providing on-site support for large-scale installations or during events where turnstile systems are used extensively. This may involve monitoring system performance, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring smooth operation.Your expertise:Experience in Turnstile/Time and Attendance: 1+ Years.Experience in Electrical/Mechanical Related Work: 1+ Years.Qualifications required:Grade 12ITIL CertificationElectrical/Mechanical CertificationDriver’s LicensePersonal attributes/ soft skills required.Electrical/mechanical aptitude: understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and mechanical components involved in turnstile operation and maintenance.Technical troubleshooting: ability to diagnose and resolve issues with turnstile systems by systematically troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software problems.Computer literacy: proficiency in using computer software and interfaces to configure, program, and diagnose turnstile systems.
