(Lending Services Representative) Full-Time

Position Description An opportunity exists for a full-time Lending Services Representative position in our Lending Services department. This position supports the delivery of lending service by performing a variety of tasks including: generating loan delinquency reports and preparing delinquent loan notices; maintaining filing system of loan documents; performing credit checks; completing PPSR and other security registration; posting loan entries; processing loan and mortgage renewals; initiating generation of loans reports or extracts; processing loan payments; and calculating and posting loan and mortgage payouts. Qualifications Required To meet the requirements of the position, you will possess a minimum of two years' experience within the financial services industry, preferably within a Credit Union; you will be familiar with the scope of products and services offered by the Credit Union and have a working knowledge of the features and benefits of the Credit Union's lending products and services. You have exceptional problem-solving skills and an intermediate skill level with Excel, Word, and Outlook. You will have above average data entry and computer skills. You thrive in providing exceptional service to our members and in creating a positive and fulfilling work environment for your fellow employees. Educational Requirements: A high school diploma, basic business, accounting, and computer courses. In addition, successful completion of CUIC Credit Union Products and Services (CUIC 185) and Loan Distribution and Monitoring (CUIC 345-M7). Post-secondary education in a business related program or similar is preferred. Previous experience an asset. Consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolled in or willing to enroll in applicable courses for this position. Your personal attributes include the ability to deal with a wide variety of tasks displaying effective time management skills. You will demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional member service as well as maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with conflict, complaints and difficult people.
