We love bringing our young learners from around the world together through a common language and building global connections. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary: The Airport Coordinator is responsible for the welcoming and greeting of our students arriving and leaving Malta. The Airport Coordinator makes sure our students are safely met and escorted to their Centre by the appropriate member of our staff as efficiently as possible. The candidate possesses a strong focus on customer service quality. Attention to detail, punctuality, and great communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact Maximising students and group leaders' satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds their expectations Specific duties include: To meet and greet Embassy summer students on arrival To assure students arrive on time for departure To handle airport arrivals and departures of students in a courteous and professional manner To follow-up on ‘No Show’ students and communicate thoroughly with the Transfer Manager Organisational Compliance: The job holder will be expected to operate in accordance with the company’s Code of Conduct, and any local policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare and safeguarding matters. Employees are required to cooperate fully with all arrangements in place related to Health and Safety which include implementation and compliance with control measures resultant from risk assessments and engagement with, and completion of, any relevant Health and Safety training. Education Required: Educated to Degree level or equivalent/or working towards Valid First Aid Certificate (Desirable) Safeguarding Level 1 (Desirable – if not in possession, Embassy Summer will provide the necessary course upon successful selection) Experience Required: No prior work experience is required for the role of airport coordinator however we do look for candidates with a lot of common sense and great communication skills. We provide the necessary training to carry out the role effectively Experience Desired: Customer Service experience Logistics experience Working in a multi-cultural environment Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and planning skills Ability to deal with and resolve complex problems and issues Ability to work under pressure Demonstrates the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people Clean driving license/own car (preferably) Fluent in written and spoken English Knowledge of any other languages is considered advantageous Eligibility and Safe Recruitment: Applicants MUST be eligible to work in the EU.
