Job Description This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Manager with retail/e-commerce industry experience to lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from initiation through to completion for the brand-new e-commerce platform backed by South Africa’s largest retail company. Based in Cape Town, this Product Manager role is hybrid-working (3x a week in office). The salary for this Product Manager position is up to R1.4 million per annum. THE COMPANY This is South Africa’s quickest-growing e-commerce platform backed by the leading retail company in South Africa. They have harnessed the power of digital customer journeys and most of SA’s leading brands to create a unique customer experience unmatched by competitors. They are building out South Africa’s first end-to-end e-commerce platform with oversight of production, supply chain, integration, and last mile solutions. This is a first-of-its-kind platform with the potential to create a monopoly over South Africa’s e-commerce industry. THE ROLE As a product manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle from conceptualization, development, through to completion&launch. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, create product strategies, define product value proposition, and optimize the value creation&customer journeys of product features. You will focus on industry trends, emerging technologies, e-commerce products, and digital customer journeys to enhance, optimize, and evolve digital products for the company’s e-commerce platform.
