Requirements: Grade 12.National Diploma Hospitality Management/C&G Diploma/Equivalent.Computer literacy is essential, particularly with a proficiency in Microsoft Office.Must have held a Junior Assistant General Manager position for at least 2 years Responsibilities: Putting the guest experience firstManages the successful operation of the restaurant/s, bar/s, and meetings/functions in accordance with the standard of the establishment.Provides a congenial atmosphere in which employees can perform to the best of their ability. In addition to the food and beverage department focus, assumes responsibility for the rooms Department (front office, housekeeping, maintenance, grounds, garden and pool, and security) when on duty management shifts, in conjunction or in liaison with the Assistant General Manager (Rooms focus).About:As an Assistant General Manager (Food and Beverage focus), assists the General Manager in the running of the establishment to ensure that guest services are consistent with set standards of service and quality, and the desired profitability, particularly with regard to the effective operation of the food and beverage department.Salary: R27 850.00Pension Employee 7.5% Employer 10.5%.Discovery Health Employer pays 50% executive plan excluded.13th ChequePart of the short-term incentive bonus scheme, rules are communicated with the employment contract.
