Our Client in the FMCG / Retail Industry is actively recruiting for a Sales Director.As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. You will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals and revenue targets within the FMCG industry.Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company's presence in existing and new markets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers, negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and potential threats.Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with product launches, promotions, and inventory management.Develop and monitor sales metrics, KPIs, and performance targets to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation within the organization.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales organization, promoting professional development and employee engagement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the FMCG industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute sales plans that align with corporate objectives.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve targets and drive results.Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budget management.Knowledge of FMCG market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitor landscape.Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit regional and international offices.Strong integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to upholding company values and principles.#J-18808-Ljbffr
