An innovative, Cape Town based online trading brokerage is on the hunt for a Financial Director/ Chief Finance Officer to join their exco and instrumental in shaping the company's financial strategy and ensuring its financial health. *NON-NEGOTIABLES* Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required proven experience in online trading/financial investments industry Must be able to show the ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Reporting- Prepare, analyse, present and make recommendations regarding to the board Cash flow Management- Monitor and manage, support capital investments, implement efficient practices Financial Controls- Establish and maintain Budgeting and Forecasting- Development, monitoring and analysis of Audit and Compliance- Ensure compliance and conduct internally Taxation- P repare and optimize Banking- Opening of corporate commercial and international accounts and maintain relations Regulatory Compliance- Stay up-to-date and comply Team Leadership- Build, inspire and lead via continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required. 5 years + proven experience in financial accountingrole preferably in online trading/financial investments industry Must be able to show the ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Track record of problem solving in a fast pace high energy environment Natural collaborator with executives, board members, and external stakeholders. Leadership: proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations with the FSCA, and South African tax laws.
