Global Cost & Management Accountant – Cape Town.Are you an ambitious Cost & Management Accountant, experienced in a manufacturing concern with cost accounting, risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting with proven ability to implement and drive new projects?Our well established International Manufacturing company’s Head Office has a newly established role with excellent career growth opportunities to work across 16 countries worldwide dealing with Key Clients and associates in different languages, cultures & time zones.Requirements:Matric, Finance Degree, CIMA or similar highly advantageousMinimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing and managing projects essentialAnalytical mind with aptitude in mathsAbility to deal across the globe with different companies, cultures and time zonesStrong management accountant skills in a senior accounting role for a manufacturing business, including prior experience in activity-based costingExcellent project management skills & experience managing complex projectsAdvanced Excel and financial modelling skillsGood practical business and financial decision-making skillsIT proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and PowerPointExcellent customer building relationship skills to engage with clients and employees around the worldDuties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Chief Commercial ManagerManage the development and deployment of new costing modules across the groupManage Data programme project roll-outs, ensuring successful implementation and timely delivery in all countries.Ensure the upkeep of essential input cost metrics across all production facilities in 16 countries.Validate overhead cost allocation across all global operations.Update raw material costs, labour, and overhead recovery rates annually based on approved expense budgets and capacity plans for all production facilities.Quarterly review of performance against the recovery rates, based on actual quarter-end results, to evaluate the necessity for recovery rate adjustments.Oversee the preparation of quarterly cost driver schedules, encompassing both macro and local economic impacts, to be presented for:Incorporation into all bi-annual and annual contract price adjustments.Consideration by senior management in Group forecasting.Ensure tender award pricing is adhered to in respective supply regions, with any deviations falling within specified mandatesEstimate Forward Exchange Contract requirements for RFID inlay purchases on a quarterly basis.Lead, manage and provide guidance for a small team dealing with costing and estimating.Coordinating and completing global tenders for apparel retailers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
