B2B Sales Executive Position: Cape Town based Remuneration: Basic + commissionPreferred start: asapOur client is the media division of a 20-year veteran in the South African online space. They hold exclusive rights to resell advertising technologies, including Zendrive and Netcore. Their looking to take advantage of the explosion for relevant data and rich media and need additional sales staff in Cape Town to meet the demand in the market. This role will evolve into a sales manager/director role (succession based).ResponsibilitiesGenerating new business from brands and agenciesMaintaining some existing clients in addition to bringing your own client baseRunning with a campaign from strategising and pitching through to launch, billing and reportingLiaison with agencies, brands, industry bodies, third parties and internal departments.Work within a team, reporting to a manager and answerable to the CEOManage personal sales pipeline.Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner.Share customer/ industry feedback and insights with internal partners.Identifying relevant opportunities and capitalizing on Group product setRequirementsAbility to understand original advertising solutions and be proficient within a monthB2B sales experience is essential.Three years+ selling call Centre solutionsDemonstrated ability to initiate and close complex packages.Knowledge of internet technologies and the online advertising sales market.Experience in selling to clients at a senior management/ director level.The ability to apply creative solutions to advertising briefs and create strong bespoke sales packages in a highly competitive marketplace.Established relationships with Cape Townagencies and clientsQualification in sales / advertising or relevant experience essentialAgency knowledge / agency relationshipsPersonal Skills/Attributes:Expert Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.Knowledge of advertising concepts such as Analytics, DFP, Facebook, Google, AdWordsGrasp of rates (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPI etc)Understanding of recent advertising concepts and trends regarding audience data, legislation, beaconing.Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Consistent performer with a proven track record.Excellent relationship builder.Excellent presentation skills.Target driven.Strong commercial acumen.Publisher and insurance experienceMotivated and ability to work independently.Able to work remotely when requiredGood negotiation skillDeadline and target drivenSalary: R30000 plus CommissionPlease utilize the Job reference when applying for this position:L53YWV93#J-18808-Ljbffr
