Developed in-house, our solutions enable customers to make and receive business payments quickly and securely and allow enterprises to trade locally, across borders, and internationally.We are on the hunt for a Scheme Settlements Acquiring Senior Officer, reporting to the Scheme Settlements Acquiring Team Lead for our Network International Team.About the PositionThe Scheme Settlements Acquiring Senior Officer is required to perform processing & posting of daily settlements, as per the terms & conditions specified in the service level agreements with the clients. Ensure Up-to-date accounting entries and reconciliation clearing for the entries posted.About youYou’d love working with us If you thrive working in a fast-paced environment helping meet the demands of our rapid growth.You’ll fit in perfectly with our culture if you:Get energised by a fast-paced environmentCherish a good work-life balanceAre adaptableRegard collaboration as an essential part of getting the job donePride yourself as being a self-starter who doesn’t lack motivationDon’t need to be micromanagedTake feedback well and use it for self-improvementWelcome change and new ideasValue the importance of diversityWhat you'll be doingKey Responsibilities:Contribution Area – ProcessingProductivityProcessing & posting of daily settlements, as per Internal SLA (1 buss day).Third Party invoicing and settlements, as per External SLA (2 buss day’s).Up-to-date accounting entries and reconciliation clearing.Ensuring back-up tasks are being implemented as per back-up plan.Accurate processing of rejects, re-processing and other related activities.Updating & reporting various MIS on a daily / weekly / monthly basisDaily dashboard scores.Number of errors.Task completion.Number of tasks handled.Back up Tasks Completed.Number of tasks learned.Reconciliation Clearing.Contribution Area – SLA AdherenceQualityEnsuring timely and accurate settlements as per Internal SLA for management of working capital requirements.Ensuring no recon entries are outstanding more than TAT, if outstanding should be with proper justification.Address & resolve both internal & external queries/issues with in TAT (1 day).Coordinate with the necessary department for any issue/s affecting Service to the clients in a timely manner.Ensuring Incoming/Outgoing reports are loaded to the system and report in case of discrepanciesReport any abnormalities & raise to relevant team or supervisor.Instances of SLA (internal/external) breaches.Issues highlighted within Time.Customer complaints.Recon clearing within TAT.Resolution of queries / issues within TAT.Contribution Area – ComplianceDealing with customer in a professional way and ensuring Customer information is handled confidentially.Adherence to ISO 27001 compliance policy & procedures.Ensuring correctness in sending daily invoices/data’s to the relevant stake holders.Raising necessary alarm & escalating issue/s noticed beyond the normal.Instances of miss outs.Instances of policy breaches.Reliability/availability.Contribution Area - Own developmentInitiative/AttitudeEnsure all the team activities are completed as per internal SLA on a daily basis.Being pro-active and willingness in taking new & additional responsibilities for the team.Take initiative and provide suggestions/ideas to improve & ease the process.Making necessary changes to improve & ease the activities by creating/modifying templates, automation & creating macros.Comply with office timings, attendances and proper utilization of work hours.Number of initiatives.Number of new processes learned.Absenteeism/late reporting.Number of observations by the superiors.What you'll needBachelor's degree from a recognized university.2+ Years of experience in a related fieldGood MS Office skills.Very Good command of English Language (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing), or equivalent to Upper-Intermediate levelComputer literate as job involves uploading files on various systems/applications.About usPayFast was founded in 2007 and has grown into one of South Africa’s leading online payment gateways.
