What you will be doing: Guide property development conceptualization, considering market needs and trends. Foster collaboration among architects, surveyors, planners, and engineers. Drive due diligence, project briefs, and design timelines from site selection to launch. Oversee potential site pipeline, offering regular updates to management. Coordinate final unit mix, pricing, and internal layouts. Deliver high-quality collateral to the brokerage team within deadlines. Manage registrations, workflows, and municipal interactions. Identify opportunities aligned with strategic objectives. Conduct and monitor market research for emerging opportunities. Nurture key relationships to support acquisition strategy. Collaborate with the executive team on financial analysis and deal structuring. Supervise internal Project Planning team across projects. Represent Acquisition and Project Planning across departments. Focus on optimising both residential and non-residential spaces. Continuously enhance project planning function with innovative technologies. What you need: A tertiary qualification in architecture, property studies, or related fields would be beneficial. 6+ years post-qualification experience. Proficient in project planning, management, and reporting. Experience with municipal applications, preferably in Cape Town. Strong leadership, team management, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Dynamic and collaborative approach to complex problem-solving. Strong architectural and interior design capabilities.
