Our first goal - reducing the administrative overhead for German doctors and enabling integration within German healthcare by providing doctors with modern, easy to use and highly optimised software to manage their entire practice. Beyond that we'll be building apps for patients and healthcare professionals as well as an open platform to enable integration across the entire healthcare industry. Responsibilities Your responsibility will be to take ownership of frontend development with your team, this includes: Building excellent highly usable, secure, fast, beautiful, well tested and technically awesome frontends to delight our users Working closely with our product owners and UX/UI-Designers as well as other developers, DevOps, QA in our cross functional teams Striving to understand the requirements, the domain and the big picture and help to refine specifications as part of the team Planning, estimating and reviewing user stories and code with the team - being a team player is part of who we are and who we want to work with Collective learning and collaborating with your teammates in the arts of the frontend Working to continually improve our application, code quality and processes Building a solution that is extensible and maintainable Requirements Extensive expert level experience (5+ years professional work) using React and TypeScript Expert level experience building and shipping “single page applications” at scale Fluency in English is required, as we are an international team working in English Located in the timezone CET (Berlin) +/- 2hrs. Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills Able to self-organise and work proactively Able to maintain a high level of quality when developing software Deeply familiar with modern web application architecture (OpenAPI, JSON, JWT and REST APIs) Very good understanding of CSS esp. Tailwind. Solid grasp of Git and the workflows around it Nice-To-Haves Understanding of performance of frontend applications Experience in server side rendering Experience with end to end testing Experience building, using and maintaining in house design systems/component libraries Experience with web tooling (e.g. Turborepo, yarn, Vite, Vitest) Masters or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field Experience with testing and automations (cypress etc.) Offer and Process We offer flexible working hours, remote/hybrid/office as you prefer and strive to pay great rates suitable for your amazing skills and outstanding experience.
