Leading and growing Financial Services company is seeking a Snr Audit Clerk / Supervisor to join their team of professionals in Kenilworth. This position requires a dynamic individual who can provide an effective auditing service, advice and support. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of the company and contribute to its growth and success.Primary responsibilities including but not limited to:To plan and oversee the auditing process from start to finishPlanning, Execution and finalizing of audit engagementsCompiling of financial statementsReviewing of audit filesAudit and other engagement administrationClient and director liaisonPreparing tax computations and completing tax returns timeouslyMonitoring audit budgets and meeting deadlinesAllocate responsibilities to junior clerksReview team members workManaging and training of audit teamsPerform effective risk and control assessmentsComplete audits on time and submit files to auditing managerPlanning, execution & review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and agreed upon procedures)Staying up to date with the latest technical standards and ensuring all work is in line with latest standardsPresent audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiencyProviding input to senior manager on planning auditsAssist in identifying revenue growth opportunities and cost-effective serviceCompleting audit processesLeading teams on audit/review engagementsWorkflow and budgetsOversea Junior staff (SAICA Article clerks)Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements using IFRS and local GAAPManaging and training junior staff and SAICA traineesVarious audit/review related dutiesDelivering external audit and assurance engagementsQ & RM proceduresLeading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagementsMinimum Requirements – Qualifications:BCom / B,Acc / B.Compt Degree (Finance, Accounting or Financial Accounting)Completed SAICA Articles to prepare working papers files and AFSMust have sound technical audit and accounting knowledgeMinimum 3 years’ experience, ideally 4 years in a professional audit environmentExperience in compilations, reviews and audits (including attorney trust, estate agent, body corporate, SME audits)Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
