Job description: Ensure the factory's overall profitability Oversee stock control, replenishment, and inventory counts Be responsible for factory Gross Profit (GP%) and EBITDA Boost sales through network connections and product expertise Enhance sales by developing the website and product catalogue Lead factory staff and enhance team performance Supervise invoicing processes Perform technical reviews of work orders Maintain high standards of quality control Optimize factory operations and plan for asset management and replacement Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules Operate independently and take full accountability for factory performance Skills&Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, with essential expertise in steelwork Qualification: Ndip/ BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferable; postgraduate studies are advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
