Job Details:Title: Operations ControllerLocation: Kempton ParkPermanent: YesFull time: YesIndustry: Transport and LogisticsSalary / CTC: R 15 000Reports to: Logistics ManagerJob Description:Our Client is seeking a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to join their team.Roles and Responsibilities:Monitoring Fleet Camera Systems.Proposing and Implementing Operational Systems to optimise fleet operations to improve overall business operations.Minimize Risk by monitoring, establishing and proposing remedial action for fleet.Tracking vehicle locations by GPS system.Monitoring driver performance.Answering driver calls and assist where required.Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action.Co-ordinating and responding to emergency situations.Liaising with drivers, operations personnel and management.Qualifications:Control Room Operator: 3 years (Required)Fleet Management: 3 years (Required) Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:Matric3 or more years' of experience working in a similar and relevant position and environment.Strong understanding of maps and giving accurate directions.Ability to learn new computer and systems fast.  Minimum Competencies:Good Communication SkillsExcellent Timekeeping AbilitiesAbility to work and function in a high paced environment.Excellent pressure handling abilities.Ability to function as part of a team and independently.Excellent CoordinationGood Organizing AbilitiesGood Numerical SkillsGood Literacy SkillsAbility to adapt to change
